 Horses & Ponies at Desert Trails Horsemanship
Exclusive Sailing (Seymour) Seymour has joined us, and though he is not a rescue, he needs to put on about 100lbs. He is a 16.3h, 17 year old, bay Thoroughbred gelding. He is an Eventer, trained in jumping and dressage, and he will be part of the lesson program for the more advanced riders.
Tinkerbell  Tinkerbell is an 11hh, 8 year old, chestnut Welsh cross pony mare, with a flaxen mane and tail. Tinkerbell has started in both the Pony Pals classes and in riding lessons for the smallest riders. She is a little on the shy side, so we are working on gaining her trust through lots of treats and grooming.
Protect Your Cookies (Cookie)
 Cookie is our most gentle and well trained lesson horse. She is a 9 year old, 15hh, bay Quarter Horse mare, who was previously shown in western pleasure. She has a sweet and affectionate personality, loves her treats, and sometimes sticks her tongue out the side of her mouth. Cookie also likes to beg for treats by standing with her front foot in the air.
Four On The Floor (Diesel)  Diesel is a 14.1hh, 5 year old, chestnut Quarter Pony/Paint gelding. He is fairly inexperienced, but can be ridden by the more advanced lesson riders, and is very fun to jump and take out on the trails.
Dream Catcher (Pepper)  Pepper is a 12.2hh, 11 year old, black and white pinto pony. She has tons of horse show ribbons to her credit, and has already taken two of our kids to show champion and reserve champion. She will be used in the novice level and up lessons for the smaller riders.
